POLICIES
​
McGraw’s Paws Inc. strives to provide a fun, safe environment for your pets. Please take note of the following policies:
​
​-All Pet Owners are required to 1) fill out and sign a Daycare & Boarding Registration Package (online or hardcopy), 2) provide proof of current Vaccinations in compliance with McGraw’s Paws Inc. Vaccination Requirements, 3) sign a Customer Agreement Form, and 4) acknowledge and agree to abide by our Policies by signing the Customer Agreement Form.

​-All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age.​
​
-All pets must be free of fleas, ticks and lice.​
​
-All pets joining doggy daycare must be non-aggressive towards pets. All pets boarding must be non-aggressive towards people.​
​
-Dogs must not have a history of jumping or climbing a 6’ fence. If so, staff must know so that we can be sure any time outside is with staff, on a leash.
​
​-McGraw’s Paws Inc. may provide bedding in sleeping areas for pets and Owner may bring additional items, reasonable in nature, to leave with his or her pet. Any additional items will only be allowed in sleeping areas (no personal items in the Doggy Daycare area). Additional items such as blankets or toys often provide comfort to your pet, but items may be returned to you soiled or damaged. McGraw’s Paws Inc. is not responsible for any such damage. McGraw's Paws staff do not launder nor are they responsible for personal bedding brought with your pet. Soiled or damaged bedding will be bagged up and returned upon Check-out.

​-McGraw’s Paws Inc. relies on the information provided by Owners when registering pets and at drop-off. Should any information provided by Owner be inaccurate and result in injury to other pets or people, Owner shall be responsible for any costs or liability incurred by McGraw’s Paws Inc.
​
​-All pets must be leashed or in a carrier at all times entering or exiting the facility to avoid "meeting" another pet that is aggressive.
​
​-Pet owners shall update McGraw’s Paws Inc. on any changes in information provided to McGraw's Paws Staff prior to or during any Boarding or Daycare.
​-Reservations are required for Daycare and Boarding. Should you need short-notice assistance, calling is your best option to determine availability and ability to swiftly process paperwork. Once a reservation is requested, it will only be confirmed when: 1) we see that current vaccines will be delivered to us prior to daycare or boarding, or at check-in and 2) deposits are paid for boarding. No deposits are required for daycare.

​-Doggy Daycare:
· We do not socialize unaltered male dogs one year or older.
· All new dogs must fulfill an “Evaluation Day” prior to joining the pack. Evaluation Day happens on their 1st day of boarding or daycare.
Unaltered males (that are 1 year or younger) and unaltered females of any age will be in separate doggy daycare yards.
-Boarding:
· All boarded cats will be kept in separate cat houses unless Owner’s request multiple cats in 1 house regardless of spay/neutering.
· Puppies can be boarded or join daycare at 8 weeks old. Boarded pups if not in daycare can be let out for potty breaks more frequently to assist with potty training.
· All pet owners who wish to bring their own food must have food in a resealable container.

- McGraw’s Paws Inc. reserves the right to refuse service or isolate for any reason that, in its sole discretion, McGraw’s Paws Inc. deems necessary.
​
​-Deposits (for boarding stays only): A deposit is required for all boarding reservations, which usually equates to about 30-50% of the total boarding cost. Boardings accepted and confirmed by our staff will be honored once a deposit is on file. Without a deposit, we reserve the right to cancel your boarding as we near capacity.
​
​-Failure to pick-up when scheduled or by 6pm closing: Pets in MP Inc.’s care who are not picked up by closing at 6pm will be boarded. Owner will be charged the overnight boarding. Any boarding pick-up after 9am will be an additional $15.
​
​-Doggy daycare fees are charged daily upon check-out (no deposit required).
​
​-Cancellations: Once a deposit is made, and a reservation request is accepted by our staff, you'll receive a reservation confirmation email. Should you wish to cancel your reservation, the following refunds are available:
· Before 3 weeks in advance: 100% refund of deposit
· Between 3 weeks - 4 days in advance 50% refund of deposit
· Between 3 days - day of reservation 0% refund of deposit

​REQUIRED VACCINES
​
-Vaccinations must be administered at least two weeks prior to check-in to ensure maximum efficiency. Written proof (faxed, emailed or hardcopy from owner or vet) is required prior to accepting your pet for Daycare or Boarding.
​
DOGS
Distemper (DHLPP or DA2PP):
· 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks
· Annual booster 1 year later and then every 3 years
Rabies:
· 12 weeks
· Annual booster 1 year later and then every 3 years
Bordetella (aka Kennel or Canine Cough). Please note that many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by owner request.
· Required every 6 months. Available to administer at our facility.

CATS
Distemper: (FVRCP, RCP or FeLV):
· 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks
· Annual booster 1 year later and boosters every 3 year
Rabies:
· 12 weeks
· Annual booster 1 year later and boosters every year
​Vaccine Requirements may vary by county or state. If your pet vaccines differ based on your vet/location our staff can attempt to validate with your vet.​
